Renewable Portfolio Standard Services

The ASCE RPS Analytics platform underpins PPA Oversight using telemetry data to provide monthly and annual reporting. This oversight assists staff at all levels in building perspective on the Power Resources Mix, and is a key part of knowledge transfer and staff training. In the event of any dispute, ASCE RPS services compile needed documentation to target speedy resolution.

RPS Services Leverage ASCE tools, algorithms, and calculations:

Solar

• Curtailment Finder: This tool can text or email selected staff as soon as a possible curtailment is detected. Using a matrix of irradiance and MW data even relatively small changes relative to anticipated output can be detected.

Geothermal

• ASCE offers expansive services in the oversight of geothermal projects using PPA's and project telemetry to assure contractual obligations are being met.

Wind

• Takes into account MW output, MWh generated, wind speed, anticipated capacity factor, seasonal considerations, and more.

• Our algorithms create an anticipated  ratio of wind speed to MW, to easily show when projects are not producing as expected, or have turbines offline.
